Stuff taped prior and after - just never edited to the game only. Probably taped early 2000's.

When you are used to Canadian commentary, the American commentary sounds pretty weak The camera work is not that great
What # Did Tiger Williams Wear And Who Was Team Captain
The cowboys went on to win the Super Bowl that season.

I was at this game with friends from work. The place was shaking in the bottom of the ninth.
The field condition was very poor, but it made for great watching on TV. You'll never see mud-covered uniforms in a championship game again, or let alone any other game for that matter.
Goodell would literally explode if football was like this
Why did Wilt put tape over his nipples at 33:50?
Cosell with Halftime highlights at about 112:00. Was always a thing. Tarkenton with Giants kills Cards. I saw these 2 teams at Yale Bowl during the "Exhibition" season.
My father in law play with the NY giant and they won the championship against the Packers. Leland Shaffer number 20! Thanks for sharing the video 🙏
15:00 Tv show Logan's Run graphics ad to air on CBS tomorrow night
oh man the 70s were the best. sports entertainment and comedy all in one. The coaches wardrobe and Oscar Robertson yelling above Musburger when he gets loud and excited has me just dying. Its great basketball and comedy all in one. No systems gone crazy and micro this and that just plain ball and announcers not trying to be so controlled either. No fat stupid fans all waving the same stupid crap . The best. Great memories
That cornball opening music was the absolute best cornball music for any sport ever.
Damn, Banana Joe announcing the goals and penalties even then. He was the best ever. When I was a kid in the 90s I loved how he said "Goal by number 17, Wendel Clark, time..."
Being traded to Chicago in the 1950s was the NHL's version of being sent to Siberia.
what a comeback by Terry O. ...
Hard to imagine that within 5 weeks of this Lima along with his wife would be gone. Just shows tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Love the golf coverage in color, year I was born. Also seeing a young Charles Barkely on a commercial and Dennis Miller on a rotary phone....the good old days before everything went stupid.
Video is still fully appreciated!!!
Played 12 days before the Vietnam War ended with the Fall of Saigon...
Mud! Lots of mud! Football in the rain! Oh yeah!
RIP Ron Ellis
Like many, our 1st hockey hero, saw him play their farm team, Edmonton Flyers at 3 years old. Recalling my 1st jersey had to be red, like the Wings. My father reminded me how demoted tough guy, Howie Young tried on Gordie & was immediately disembodied, with just one mighty straight arm, along the boards. Mark Messier’s father, Doug, was a rugged journeyman blue liner with the Flyers. Where do you think #1️⃣1️⃣ got the blueprint for his own game? I recently tried to respectfully suggest that special legends like Mr. Hockey, could easily transcend generations of the game, given equal access to ALL the games advantages in; training, sports medicine, equipment, tactics, techniques, etc.. You simply can’t beat Mother Nature’s genetic creation & the effects of the environment they grow within…cause & effect. His freakish, natural power, scary, competitive meanness, ambidextrous stick talent, willpower, desire & natural abilities can’t be taught. We all know incredibly gifted athletes, highly drafted 1st rounders who never make the leap to the NHL. This man simply dominated for decades, even into the WHA, with his sons. Some individuals just can’t face reality, especially when confronted with a Supernatural! 🇨🇦
R.I.P. Ronny Ellis
God, Sovjet was good. Never mentioned when they are talking about the best players ever.
Yes, RIP to both Dick Enberg and Bill Walsh. I miss coach Walsh, he was an excellent Head Coach. Had the Niners had him as head coach today, they would have 7 Super Bowls right now. He kept things simple and never over thought things and he trusted his players to carry out their jobs. The current coach has too much control and power and he doesn't quite trust those around him; so, he spreads himself too thin.
Love those uniforms not like those silly looking things they wear today

Danny Gare wow
Yeah, don't run into the goal posts when catching that touchdown pass..........
People talk about how other people are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Bobby Orr was born with skates on his feet.
When football was FOOTBALL!
Could you imagine Mahomes and Kelce lighting up a defense of college guys thrown together on an all-star team? How about facing down the fury of Chris Jones's pass rush? Sounds like a 77-3 game with several college guys carted off the field.
Loved Bruce Martyn's call..the voice.. the use of the English language and the flow. And Sid Abel's expert knowledge and timely commentary was superb.
Ditto sir

Seriously, though: who is this announcer and why does he sound like Franklin Roosevelt?
The offensive schemes are run like somebody with an entire backfield of Patrick Mahomeses. Bernie Faloney pitching (1:00:40) to Rollie Miles throwing back against his body while on the run to Jackie Parker who demonstrates why he had the nickname "Spaghetti Legs," as well as why the New York Giants drafted him and offered him more money than Edmonton could; yet, he stayed in Edmonton because his wife liked it better, and that was good enough for him. And how do you not love "Eagle Keys to Bernie Faloney..." Or another escapee from the NFL, Johnny Bright (DEFINITELY look up his story) only playing linebacker because there basically isn't room for an eventual 1,700-yard rusher and Most Outstanding Player in that backfield of Globetrotters. I mean, this was a team just three years removed from the Stukus brothers, who founded the club in 1949. The Stukus brothers!! Who were winning Grey Cups when it was still just a lightly tarnished silver, really, not grey... I mean, do YOU think it's grey? I hardly think it would do socials that hot if it was grey. This is awesome. I mean, Tom Cruise running on a hamster wheel energy-level awesome. Lor' bless you, Sir Newton, and may you reach the heavenly end zone before Dave Fennell knows yer dead. Seriously, that's all you have to do to get into Heaven, is score on Dave Fennell. Which is probably easier than you'd think, given the dude's like, in his seventies? I mean, I still don't think I'd want to find out how strong his grip is, but I'm feeling pretty OK about outrunning him, y'know?
The halftime entertainment had to fundraise to pay for their trip from Montreal. It's all so friggin' wholesome it makes me trust the National Carbon Company.
FUN FACT: The stadium this game was played in is now a NASCAR track.
This is unwatchable.
Man I was 10!!
Some great, memorable HNIC voices can be heard at the beginning of this clip: Jack Dennett, Ward Cornell, Brian McFarlane and Bill Hewitt.
Short FGs were not all automatic like today. Both teams were fairly even. Packers had the edge in defense. A one-two punch in the backfield with Hornung and Taylor.
Gary Collins was maybe the one receiver in the NFL to have any success against Adderley.
Another teams super bowl hopes dashed by a kicker. Who had his chances! - Brian
